Client-Side Storage (LocalStorage & Saved Spots)
When you bookmark or save places ("My Saved Destinations" or "সংরক্ষিত স্থানসমূহ"), create custom route itineraries, or select map items:
- Local Only: All saved spot IDs and user selections are saved strictly within your browser's
localStorage. - No Cloud Sync Required: Your saved spots are never transmitted to our remote servers unless you explicitly share an export file or submit a contribution.
- User Control: You can clear your saved places anytime using the "সব মুছুন" (Clear All) button on the map or by clearing your browser cache.

Place Suggestions
If you submit a hidden gem via the "Suggest a Hidden Place" form, we receive the place title, district, category, description, and optional contact details you choose to share for verification.
